Itinerary
Enjoy East and West Bank tours in Luxor. United Guides Travel representative will pick you up from the hotel in Luxor.
You will be met with our Guide, start your day tour by visiting the East Bank, watch the glory for Gigantic Luxor Temple known as ipet resyt, (“the southern harem”), dedicated to the god Amun. Know more about the most important reli-gious festivals in ancient Egypt – the annual Opet Festival.
Move to Karnak temple; it was called Ipet-isu or “The most select of places” in the middle kingdom. It contains a vast mix of ruined temples, pylons, chapels, and other buildings.
Lunch will be served at a local restaurant.
Experience the heritage and history in the Valley of The Kings, which form the cliffs in the valley, it was the burial site of almost all the kings (pharaohs) of the 18th, 19th, and 20th dynasties.
Then, move to the nearby temple of Queen Hatshepsut at Deir el-Bahri, hear the story about the great Hatshepsut, the fifth pharaoh of the Eighteenth Dynasty of Egypt. She was the second historically confirmed female pharaoh. Her name means “Foremost of the Noble Ladies.”
On the way back, you will watch the Gigantic Colossi of Memnon, which are two monumental statues representing Amenhotep III (1386-1353 BCE) of the 18th Dynasty of Egypt.
Finally, drive-by air-conditioned vehicle back to your hotel in Luxor.
