The most important animals of the Grand Aquarium are: hammerhead sharks, rays, large sea turtles, guitar sharks and, in particular, eagle rays. All animals are housed in tanks with a total volume of 1 million (US) gallons of salt and fresh water, making the aquarium one of the largest in the world. Particularly impressive is the walk through the underwater acrylic tunnel 48 m long.
